Media Center Etiquette and Practices
No food, beverages, or gum are permitted in the Media Center.
The Media Center offers a place conducive to reading, research, and study. Students will respect the rights of others to have a quiet atmosphere in which to work.
Disruptive students will be asked to return to class promptly.
Students must have a school pass signed by a teacher to visit the Media Center.
Internet access is provided for research purposes. Students may email using their student email accounts only.
Any student who violates the Marion County Public Schools Acceptable Use Policy agreement will have his/her Internet privileges in the Media Center revoked.
Circulation
Students may check out up to five books at a time for three weeks.
Students who have lost or damaged books will be expected to pay for the book or the damage fee.
Printing
A printer is available at the circulation desk for the cost of $.10 per page.
Copies can be made as well for the same cost.
Black and white only, no color printing is available.

Alpha Time in the Media Center
Students may use the Media Center during ALPHA Time.
Students can use computers for academic research, to check grades, and complete assignments.
Students can also use the Media Center to find reading materials and relax during ALPHA Time.
No food or drink is allowed during that time.
