Hi there! I'm Ms. Convery, English III and Creative Writing teacher and Literary/Screenwriting Club Advisor at West Port.

Welcome to the Literary & Screenwriting Club!

If you love writing poetry and stories, want some experience writing, editing, and publishing a magazine, well, you've come to the "write" place! But...

Maybe your interest lies in writing for the BIG screen, Netflix, or Prime. Well, you've still come to the "write" place. You're going to love the experience of working in a writer's room together.

I'm looking forward to working with all of you wonderful creatives in cultivating your talent, and publishing the best literary talent that West Port has to offer.

Here's a rundown of our tentative meeting schedule:

Our first meeting will be held in my classroom (Ms. Convery) on Thursday, September 26 in Building 7, Room 16 during ALPHA B. Both short story and screenwriters will attend.

FOR LITEARY/SHORT STORY WRITERS AND PUBLISHERS:

We meet every Tuesday during ALPHA B in my room (Ms. Convery) Building 7, Room 16.

Afterschool Meeting: The FIRST (1st) Thursday of each month from 3:00 to 5:00 starting in October.

FOR SCREENWRITERS:

We meet every Thursday during ALPHA B in my room (Ms. Convery) Building 7, Room 16.

Afterschool Meeting: The THIRD (3rd) Thursday of each month from 3:00 to 5:00 starting in October
