The National Honors Society is a prestigious organization that aims to recognize and promote excellence in high school students. Membership in National Honors Society is based on the four pillars: scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Members of West Port's NHS are expected to model the four pillars in everything thing they do on campus. NHS members will have the opportunity to serve their community through a variety of volunteer opportunities.
How to join:
In order to join National Honors Society, you must have and maintain at least a 3.25 unweighted GPA. Membership is only open to 10th, 11th, and 12th graders (semester 1 only). Invitation emails will be sent out in the first week of school with instructions on the application process. Failure to complete the application by the deadline (September 12th) will result in ineligible entry to the club for that current semester, but you may apply again in the following semester.
